Sonography
Sonography or Diagnostic ultrasound is an imaging method that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the organs/structures within your body to gain valuable information and therefore, treat the disease.

Preparation:
- The test is done on an empty stomach.
- Make sure that your bladder is full (drink plenty of water at least one hour before the test).
- Wear loose clothes.
Duration:
The duration of this test is usually 30 to 45 minutes in which the doctor applies a small amount of water-soluble gel on your skin over the area to be examined.
